About
ברוכים הבאים לחוות קשואלה
בהרי יהודה הנישאים סביב ירושלים, גולש לו יער אורנים וחורש טבעי- יער הל"ה. בלב היער על קרחת קטנה, שוכנת לה ״חוות קשואלה״.
החווה עלתה לקרקע בתאריך ה׳ בסיוון תשע״ב בתמיכת המועצה האזורית גוש עציון .
קשואלה - היה שמו של לוחם הפלמ״ח, יעקב זרחי, הנודע בכינויו ״קשואלה״. קשואלה היה אחד מחברי שיירת הל״ה . שיירה אשר יצאה במלחמת העצמאות לסייע לגוש עציון הנצור. בעקבות מחסור בנשק לא המשיך במסע ונפל לאחר תשעה ימים, בט״ו בשבט התש״ח, בקרב על הקסטל בדרך לירושלים. במקום בו הם לא הספיקו לעבור אנו ממשיכים את חזונם. מיישבים ומפיחים חיים באדמת ארץ ישראל.
המשפחה יחד עם עדר כבשים שומרת על הקרקעות מגזל ועל העצים מפני כריתה.
Our story
חוות קשואלה הינה חווה חקלאית תיירותית משפחתית קסומה שבה מתגוררים משפחת בן דוד יחד עם ילדיהם,
עדר כבשים ופרות, וחיות משק נוספות.
לצד אהבת הטבע והסביבה, החיבור לאדמה, למורשת, לתקופת המקרא ולסיפור ההתיישבות הציוני, המשפחה יחד עם בעלי החיים נוטלים חלק חשוב בשמירה על היער והאדמות באזור. בנוסף ישנם גידולים חקלאים נוספים בחממה וביער ואנו מפיקים דבש טבעי מפרחי היער.
מה אנחנו מציעים?
חאן קשואלה – חאן לאירוח ולינה – ישנם אפשרויות לינה שונות - אוהלי אירוח גדולים לקבוצות , אוהלים אינדיאניים (טיפים) משפחתיים ומתחם לאוהלים בהקמה עצמית. סדנאות ייחודיות המותאמות לקהלים שונים ומגוונים – תלמידים , סטודנטים , גמלאים, חברות, המעוניינות בימי גיבוש וקהל מקצועי, קבוצות תיירים. פעילויות O.D.T מגוונות המותאמות באופן אישי לכל קבוצה.
הפעילויות המוצעות כאן בחווה הן חינוכיות ערכיות ואקולוגיות. כאן תוכלו לחוות את חיי היומיום של החיים בלב יער, ותוכלו להתנסות בעצמכם בפעולות שימחישו את אורח החיים בתקופת התנ"ך ולהתחבר למקצועות ולמלאכות עתיקות שעסקו בהן בעבר- טחינת גרגרי חיטה ואפייה, רעיית צאן, התנסות במיומנויות שטח והישרדות כהדלקת אש, גישוש ומעקב אחרי בעלי חיים, סדנת בישולי שדה, סדנת בנייה באדמה מקומית בסגנון קדום והכנת לבני בוץ- ולמעשה כל הפעולות שאפשרו בעבר את החיים במקום מבודד. הסדנאות מלוות בהסברים מרתקים הקשורים למקורותינו ומאפשרים למבקרים בחווה חיבור מהנה ומעשיר לשורשים הקדומים שלנו, לאדמה ולארץ.

- לצוות החינוכי יש חלק עיקרי במסע הבנייה הערכי והחשוב שהקבוצה עוברת . זו הזדמנות להתבוננות באנשי הקבוצה , כקבוצה ובכל אחד כפרט.
- הזדמנות לתת דגש ומקום לחיזוק ולהעצמה אישית לתלמיד/ עובד מסוים .
- סיכום – בסוף כל סדנא , נסכם את מהלך הפעילות ע"י שיתוף של הקבוצה, מה הם קיבלו, ממה הם נהנו, מה הנקודה אותה בוחרים לקחת איתם הביתה ובמה אפשר להתחזק ולהתקדם.

"Field Skills" - in this workshop we will learn about basic concepts such as field reading, probing and starting a fire. We will learn the terrain route, navigation, we will learn to identify suspicious movements and follow different animals in the forest.
